Burial mounds

During burial mounds, the burnt remains of human bodies were placed on the surface of the earth and topped out with a mound (an artificial embarkment of clay, sometimes in combination with the stone piled up over the grave). One of the burial grounds was damaged by unprofessional intervention in Sulov. It was discovered during the widening of the road in 1928. It was at the left side at the beginning of the village. There used to be a lime kiln nearby. Nowadays, opposite to the place there is a cottage Chalupa Monika. There had been discovered ten clay pots filled with ash, bones and several bronze decorations. Everything was thrown away with the soil.
