Annotation: Tomas and the Falcon King is a dramatic story set in the Middle Ages. Tomas, 14 years old boy with a special ability to communicate with animals, lives in the beautiful countryside under the castle of the powerful lord Balador. His family – father, grandfather Methodius and sister Agata, live peacefully until his father tragically dies. Tomas and grandpa Methodius are forced to seek a new subsistence. Tomas meets beautiful Formina – Balador’s daughter, at the castle. He falls in love with her but she is going to marry young Ostrik, so Tomas experiences his first love disappointment. At the same time, he unwittingly becomes entangled in the intrigue of the court falconer Iver. It is a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Jozef Ciger Hronsky.
